Buenos Aires: Its People & Culture
I cannot begin to guess how many hours I have spent wandering the streets of Buenos Aires. Everything about the city fascinates me. Its people are beautiful. Yet, it is a dichotomy. The artistic and intellectual life is as vibrant as any city in the world, but there is a heaviness to the air. A meloncholia. There are more psychoanalysts per capita in Buenos Aires than in any other city. I believe it is due to their European ancestry yet third world governments and economy. Their potential is still in the subjunctive- a wish, a desire. It has yet to be. Here are some of the visual results from my street wanderings.
