Cafés of the World
OK, most of these images are from Buenos Aires and Paris, with a few from southern France and several from miscellaneous locations. Still it covers several continents, thus I will stick with "Cafés of the World." When I travel I find myself drawn to Cafés. They are places to sit and rest after walking around all day. A place to write postcards (back when that is what one did), and a place to watch the locals (and other tourists, perhaps). It is an excuse to sit, read, observe, and daydream. Isn't that why we all want to get away in the first place?
Nearly all the images from France and Argentina were shot with my Leica M-6 on 35mm film. The Australian and a couple Buenos Aires images were taken with a Canon Powershot S70, and the couple from Latin America were taken with the Leica. (One color shot from Buenos Aires from 2014 was shot with a Lumix GF1.)
