Quotations from Verona

Did you see those two gentlemen from there? ; ) Verona is an incredibly beautiful city. It is also a city to walk in. While there are tourists, it is roomy enough to spread us around. We stayed with friends who were minutes away from the city center. They even prepared the best raviolis in all of Verona for us! (From a little shop around the corner from them.). It was so beautiful!

Verona is also the largest wine region in Italy (and the world, I was told). The grapes in the immediate region are valpolicella and we took a tour of Gamba, a small vineyard in the heart of the old valley.

This musician walked the streets in the morning where we were staying with our friends. Locals would come out of their apartments to give him a tip.

View of the Ponte Vecchio from the Teatro Romano. The citizens of Verona, afraid this bridge would be destroyed in the war, carefully took note of its construction, and using its own bricks after it was bombed, reconstructed it.
