Certainly one of the most creative musicians of the past century. His shows were always great. His band is spit and polished. One show he stopped in the middle of "Moving to Montana" to let the crowd know he was not there for target practice and if anyone threw anything else on the stage (except women's panties) he would walk off the stage. When his little lecture ended, he turned to the band, counted off, and they resumed from the exact note as if nothing had happened. It was quite fascinating.
