The Who

Pete Townshend is my rock 'n roll hero. Quadrophenia came out when I was an alienated youth in High School. It helped me through many low moments. And there really was nothing like a Who concert when Keith was around (I saw them at the Chicago Stadium in 1975). But it is Pete and his songs that continue. I was fortunate enough to see him live at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago on a rare solo tour, the Psychoderelct tour. He rocked for three hours! Including a production of Psychoderelect with actors and a crack band, including Andy Fairweather-Lowe on Guitar (fortunately it was not the night he was drunk).
