I returned to Buenos Aires for a visit in December 2001, in the midst of an economic crisis. The day I landed their president de la Rúa resigned from office. During the next two weeks the country saw four changes of presidents. I spent much of my "vacation" marching in the streets until 2a.m. with my friends. It gave us plenty of time to catch up. Below are some images I took during the protests. I also wrote a short essay on my experiences during these weeks. You can click here to read a copy on a PDF file.
