On my trip to Argentina in February 2014, apart form hanging out with friends in Buenos Aires, I wanted to travel somewhere I hadn't before. I chose Mendoza, Argentina's wine region, and home to nearby Mt. Aconcagua, the tallest peak in the Americas (22,841ft/6,962m). I had no inclination to climb it, just hike in the park to get some good views. It was an unusually sunny day around the peak, no clouds at all! Mission accomplished.
